Accommodation
The Coach House is conveniently positioned close to the main road in the heart of the village with all the amenities close by. Access is via wooden gate into a gravel courtyard between the Coach House and the owner’s home, with ample open car parking space.
The accommodation comprises a large open plan living and dining area with spacious well equipped kitchen to one end, which includes an electric cooker, gas hob, microwave oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a fireplace with a cast iron “wood burner” (gas controlled) and a solid oak floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. One room has a double bed and en-suite shower room (with WC and sink), the other with twin beds. There is also a separate family bathroom (with WC and sink). The property is decorated in a contemporary style yet retains much of its original character providing a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Old stone cottages, like the Coach House, built well over a hundred years ago, are for the most part charming and full of character. However, they have been built before the days of damp proofing and cavity insulation, therefore the occasional damp patch may appear. Please help us to avoid this by allowing air to circulate by opening windows and external and internal doors when you can and keep condensation to a minimum by opening blinds and curtains during the day.
Thank you
